Brazil is entering specialty coffee as younger generations return to help their parents on the family farm. Many are the first in their family to see the potential for specialty coffee. As we survey Brazil we look for small groups of young, motivated farmers who are looking to make a name for themselves. These farmers are learning, experimenting, and making their own path. And they are doing so with incredible capacity and resources; the next generation of Brazilian coffee farmers are positioned as strong partners for the future of US specialty.
