VIEW OFFERINGS //  JUNE 2015 JUNE UPDATE  |  In June we welcomed three lots from Uganda Bukonzo Organics to the Crop to Cup family. I encourage anyone to get to know this community and it's coffee, as it's going to be on the specialty radar for years to come. VIEW OFFERINGS //  MAY 2015 MAY UPDATE  |  The new coffee in May was the Tanzania Mwalyego. But it was brand new; as our first import from this community we were happily surprised when the arrivals samples outdid the PSS. In the cup all grades, PB, AB, and AA had a sweet nutty, butterscotch aromas underscored with apricot.  Between the grades coffees varied slightly in terms of acidity intensity or fruit-forwardness, but in-all, every lot held its own on the table.  We've sold through all the PB and AB grades.  AAs are available but moving quick as well, so if you haven't requested a sample yet and want to take a peek at this community, be sure to get in...
INTRODUCING MWALYEGO COOPERATIVE FROM MT. MBEYA IN SOUTHERN TANZANIA There is exceptional variety to be found across Tanzania's Southern Highlands. Over the past three years, and with a lot of help along the way, we were able to cup coffees from many communities - with a focus on Mbeya district. VIEW OFFERINGS //  APRIL 2015 APRIL UPDATE  |  April at Crop to Cup was focused on wrapping up a busy booking season. At the end of it we are looking at a diverse line-up of unique coffees from Sumatra, Ethiopia, Uganda, Mexico and Tanzania - all of which are at some point between the mill and the port right now. A short sigh of relief and weekend of respite for our collective palate (and Proaster).  Not for long, though - arrival samples from Tanzania come in Monday, and by next month we expect first arrivals from Mexico and Uganda.
